About IB
Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programs of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Schools must be authorized, by the IB organization, to offer any of the four programs.
Parkland has joined more than 4,000 schools worldwide who have chosen to teach the International Baccalaureate® (IB) programs, with their unique academic rigour and their emphasis on students’ personal development. These schools teach more than one million students worldwide.
Started in September 2018, Parkland Secondary School offers the Diploma Programme (DP) and the Course Programme (CP) for students in their final two years of high school.
