Breakfast Club runs 7:40am-8:20am, selling muffins and juice to our students. Schedules will be done based on parent availability. Thank you for supporting our PAC and our students. UBC Engineering Dept is hosting a virtual Open House on October 13-15, an On-Campus Open House on November 5 at the Vancouver campus and November 19 at the Okanagan campus. Register online by October 13.

Youth Health Clinic is every Thursday night 5:30-7:30 @ Shoreline Medical Clinic.

ATHLETICS, SPORTS TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS AND GAME ANNOUNCEMENTS:

There is a quick meeting tomorrow at lunch in Room 200 for any girls that want to play basketball this year.

Ruby was the first finisher in the SENIOR BOYS race!! Hector was 9th and Ignacio 11th. Nele was 9th in the Senior Girls Race and Marti was 15th in the Jr Boys Race. Sarah, Ludmilla, Camila and Layla also all had great races! It was the biggest Parkland Team in years!!! Thanks to all the volunteers who marshalled too!

Congratulations to the Sr. Boys soccer team who have won their first 3 games of the season.  They are undefeated so far.  They beat Vic High yesterday 4-2.  Goals were scored by Troy Sander 3 and Aurelius 1.  Great game by the entire team. Congrats Boys.

KidSport Greater Victoria is a local organization that exists to help families in need access organized sport opportunities for their children. To be eligible for up to $600 per year in registration fee support, children must be 18 years or under, families must be within financial eligibility limits, and season must be at least 8 weeks long with an eligible sport organization.  For more information, a list of eligible local sport organizations, and to apply, visit www.kidsportvictoria.ca.

Volunteer Opportunity - The Sidney Business Association is looking for volunteers for community events such as the Halloween Treat Street event and the Christmas Parade. Come by the Career Center on Monday October 17th at lunch to learn more.

Norgarden and The Peninsula require part-time Servers. Shifts are evenings from 3:30pm to 8pm as well as some weekend shifts 7am until 2pm. $19.29/hr.
