All students who have not returned textbooks and books from Semester 1, MUST return them to the library BEFORE the start of Semester 2 . If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Kallechy or Mr. Mueller.
Semester 2 timetables have been distributed, if course changes are needed, students should see a counsellor this week.
Grade 9 immunization forms went home with the timetables and are now over due.
Tickets for Musical Theatre production of Mean Girls (PG13) are on sale. Look at the theatre seating to choose your seats then call the Accounts office to reserve (250-655-2736, T-F, 8-3). Adults $18 // Students $14. Saturday Matinee $14 for everyone. There will be a small concession during intermission, cash only. Live streaming is available for the Friday and Saturday night shows. Cost is $15 for an individual or $30 for a household. Thank you for your support!
The BGC Youth Program has cooking classes at their Central Saanich location for youths 12-16.
Our PAC needs your help. The PAC would like to continue to run the breakfast club 7:45-8:25am, selling muffins and juice boxes to our students. They need parent volunteers to sign up. Thank you for supporting our students! PAC can be reached at: parkland.pac.sd63@gmail.com

Parkland Jr. Boys Basketball surges to 3rd Place. The Jr. Boys basketball team won their third consecutive game on Monday night 53-42 over EMCS (Milne) in Sooke. The Panthers now are in sole possession of third place in their pool. It was a dark and rainy night and the drive was over 90 minutes - but it was worth it! Both teams played well in the first half and went to the locker room with a very close score. But the Panthers came out on fire after halftime with a tough pressure defense and held Milne to zero points in the third quarter! Not a typo - Zero Points! The team built a 20 point lead and coasted to the win. Great effort by the team and also by the parents who drove for three hours round trip!
Next up: Mount Douglas Tournament today against Carihi from Campbell River at 6:15 and then two more games on Friday.
Big game at home on Monday 29 January against undefeated Claremont. Tip-Off is at 4:15. Come out and support the team in our last regular season game. Make Some Noise! Go Panthers!
