ATHLETICS, SPORTS TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS AND GAME ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Jr. Boys basketball team headed into the playoffs as a heavy underdog to the #1 seed and high scoring St. Andrews team.  The Panthers used a tough pressure defense and a slow tempo offense to nearly upset the Sabres. The lead changed hands back and forth throughout the game before St. Andrews pulled ahead in the last three minutes of the game.  The final score are 51-41.

Congratulations to the Jr. Boys basketball team for a successful season and strong showing in the playoffs!

Basketball will continue through the spring for all grades as the coaches will be offering Skill Development sessions for any interested students, including some Grade 8 players from North Saanich Middle School.  If you want to work hard and get better, then come out and join the fun!  Stay tuned for more details!

Our training program gives those ages 9-19 the opportunity to develop physical literacy, speed, and fitness, learn Track & Field specific skills, make friends and exercise in a supportive environment, attend track meets if they wish, and compete in alignment with the LONG TERM ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT (LTAD) pathway.
