With our continued partnership with the Saanich Police Community Engagement Division, we provide resources for parents and youth in our community through a variety of workshops and seminars. Join Saanich Youth Services in partnership with Saanich Police for a FREE Gang Education & Trends Seminar. This is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to better understand the trends police are seeing in our community. In this workshop, participants will have the chance to ask all the questions they need to. Hear all the up-to-date information from police officers and youth workers in our community. Everyone from all walks of life and all corners of the community are welcome. Friday, November 17, 6:30-8:30 at Royal Oak Middle School. Registration Link. *** The Environmental Leadership Ocean Group of Mount Douglas Secondary School has invited Parkland students who are interested in supporting ocean sustainability to attend their Diversity in Marine Science: Inspiring Youth in Ocean Sustainability Conference on November 20th. The conference will feature speakers on marine biology, ocean sustainability and student led activities. 9:30am-3:00pm, lunch will be provided. Registration is required by November 15.
