Bus Registration for the 2023/24 school year is now open! Registrations are only accepted online. Here is the registration link.  Student ID number is required.

Our Leadership class is holding a Donation Drive June 5-16, Clothing and books. Donation box in the front foyer.

Grade 11s and 12s are invited to read frequently updated scholarship information posted on the Scholarship Google classroom.

Youth Health Clinic is every Thursday night 5:30-7:30 @ Shoreline Medical Clinic.

Studio 63 Hair Salon is now open for haircuts and styling. Call for an appointment or just walk in.

Attention All Athletes.  This year's Athletic Banquet is being held on June 22nd from 5-7.  BBQ starts at 5 followed by the awards banquet in the Theatre.  Tickets cost $5.  Please see Mrs. Bennet to buy your ticket. Last day to purchase is Monday June 19th.

Big Congratulations to Jackson Murray who came SECOND in Province in the 1500m Race Walking with a Personal Best Time!!!  BRAVO JACKSON!  Ignacio Bettiol came in 10th and beat his Island time by more than 90 seconds! Top 10 for both our Race Walkers is AMAZING!

Biggest thanks to Coach Walter for his support and humor, and Ruby for being there for us at the BC's.  We missed watching you run but can hardly wait to cheer you on in Oregon!

Early Learning and Care and Indigenous Peoples Health Course.  If you are in Grade 11 and interested in a Dual Credit course next year on Friday afternoons and Online starting in February, see Ms. McNamee ASAP!  These two courses are being offered to students interested in the following programs of study!  Mental Health & Addictions Certificate Program Community, Family & Child Studies Diploma Program Early Learning & Care Diploma Program Educational Asst. & Community Support Cert. Early Learning & Care Diploma Program. Get a Jump start on your career while still in school!

Camosun College is offering an Indigenous Trades in Training sampler program for Indigenous students, 12 weeks, starting in July. The program is fully funded, and students will have the opportunity to try several different trades!

*** A local senior is  looking for a student to help cut the grass with an electric lawn mower and occasionally help in the garden over the summer. Please see Ms. McNamee if you are interested.

Step Up Youth was here and shared some awesome information on how you can be part of a fabulous Youth Volunteer Program. Volunteer once a week for the school year at a local hospital and give back to your community! See Ms. Mac if interested.

Seeking volunteers to help be runners / spotters for our kids who will be a part of our ICANBIKE Program and learning how to ride two-wheelers July 10-14th at Panorama Rec.   iCan Bike - Victoria, BC - iCan Shine

 iCan Bike camp to teach children with cognitive and/or physical challenges how to ride a two wheeled bike. Check it out at www.icanshine.org

Grad lanyards are in, pick up at the office. We did order a few extra $8 each or 2 for $15.

*** ALL GRAD TICKETS BE MUST RESERVED. All UVic tickets are to be reserved between June 1-16 only. Please refer to your blue folded pages for more information. Please email Ms. Gribling with the TOTAL number of tickets to be reserved, cgribling@saanichschools.ca. You will then receive an email of confirmation and how to pay for any additional tickets ($10 each). There are still a lot of parents that have not yet emailed to reserve tickets, you must email Ms Gribling to receive any tickets. TODAY is the last day for tickets, don’t miss out.
